Melanie, born in 1973 in Bonnievale, South Africa, grew up on a farm nestled amidst the magnificent Langeberg mountains, where she was immersed in the beauty of nature from an early age. Currently residing in Yzerfontein, Melanie finds her inspiration in the captivating allure of the sea and the scenic beauty of the West Coast. Melanie’s work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions, both locally and abroad. During her time in the UK, Melanie spent five years dedicated to creating vibrant murals for hospitals and schools, leaving her artistic mark in these important institutions. In addition to her mural work, Melanie showcased her talent through solo exhibitions held in the Isle of Wight, presenting her artwork to a broader audience and sharing her creative vision with the local community. While residing in Vienna, Melanie found herself deeply inspired by the richness of art and the historical tapestry that enveloped the unique landscape.
